Bye-bye, bed bugs.

The Daily News is reporting that a bill with a focus on bed bugs at New York City hotels is being sent to the City Council.

Spearheaded by Brooklyn Councilman Rafael Espinal, the legislation would require city hotels to have exterminators inspect each room for the pests every six months.

This is in response to bed bug sightings at hotels soaring by more than 44 percent between 2014 and 2015.
